Sefton Para Tri Success 2017

22nd June 2017

Sefton Aiming High, Changing Lives!

Following the success of last year’s first ever Para-triathlon at Crosby Lakeside, Sefton Aiming High team pulled together another elite Aiming High team for this year’s event which took place on the 18th June  2017 at Crosby Lakeside.
Participants in the event could choose which part of the three disciplines they could participate in and they were allowed to be supported on the route by a non-disabled family member, carer or friend.  The strength and determination which we witnessed whilst filming was awe inspiring, we were blown away by the talent, commitment and support of all involved.

Aiming High for Disabled Children makes sure disabled children, young people and their families have the same access to fun, fulfilling activities and life chances as those without disabilities.  Through sporting activities such as the Para Tri it was hard to see any disability.  All who took part have a 'can do' attitude, nothing was going to get in their way of crossing that finish line.

We can't wait to work with Aiming High again soon.  Filming a live event filming such as this is necessary to capture the true feeling and essence of what the Sefton Aiming High team are trying to achieve.  We pride ourselves in having an extremely quick turn around of the edit so it was able to be used on social media platforms the day after so the event momentum was maintained and improved.
